Jagger cools vocal chords with ice creams!
Asian news International
London, September 4, 2006
Most sound artists might be using warm water to maintain their vocal efficiency, but it seems Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger uses buckets full of ice cream to cool down his vocal chords after concerts.
The veteran rocker reportedly ordered an American-style fridge to be installed in his hotel room in Wales, in order to store his giant supply of ice-cream.
He had recently cancelled a string of concerts in Spain after suffering a sore throat.
The Stones stayed at the exclusive Celtic Manor Hotel, near Newport, Gwent, for the last UK date of their Bigger Bang tour in Cardiff. It also happens to be the favourite getaway of actress Catherine Zeta Jones, reports the Sun.
Despite the number of cancelled shows this year due to Keith Richard’s famous fall from the tree and Jagger’s throat trouble their band remains one of the top earners from live shows. |
