GotToRollMe Too true, TTM. While Ed Sullivan did his share to corrupt America's youth with wonderful Rock & Roll (despite his efforts to "keep it clean")with The Beatles, Stones, Doors, etc., Dick Clark did so much more. If I'm not mistaken, the show used to air live daily from Philly - just in time for the after-school crowd. By the time I was watching it, it was on weekly on Saturday mornings (right before Souuuuuuuuul Train), and hosted just about every band that came down the pike. An American institution. And Dick Clark was always one of Rock & Roll's most ardent champions. Hail Hail Mr. Clark!
