Steel Wheels I'm gonna cheat.

My top five from the first Philly show:

1. Infamy (Keith in great form, vocally and guitar-wise.)
2. Rough Justice (B-stage and the first time I've ever been this close. Rough Justice is my favorite experience in life ever)
3. Get Off Of My Cloud (B-stage, and I'm in a fucking trance. Mick and Keith are right in front of me.)
Honky Tonk Women (Jesus Christ, there's one of keith's daughters in front of me.)
Out Of Control - a thrilling rendition

And from the 2nd Philly show:

Rough Justice
Back Of My Hand (the Stones do a blues for me!)
Midnight Rambler (Another blues for me. keith is on fire.)
Oh No Not You Again (B-stage, Mick is in complete charge. Charlie rock solid.)
You Got Me Rocking (B-stage, and I witness Keith tear into my favorite solo and pull it off. )

I was at their feet both nights at the b-stage. LOVED it. Bring on Atlantic City!

Gazza Dead Flowers - especially Houston. Hasnt been played enough.

As Tears Go By - THE surprise inclusion of the tour.

Midnight Rambler - as ever

The best of the new songs by some distance has been Rain Fall Down ("the Salt Lake Incident" excepted). Listen to the Glasgow broadcast and see what I mean.

'Most improved warhorse' award goes to IORR

'Sway' started off uncertainly, but thankfully they persisted with it in Europe until by the time they reached the UK, they pretty much nailed it.

'Night Time' was great, too - but that spot in the show should have had more variety which meant it was a staple for too long.

luxury1 Rain Fall Down--I love the funk...

As Tears Go By--Mick, at his "endearing ballad" best. THe lyrics slay me. Keith with that beautiful acoustic sound. What a perfect song. ( I havent heard Streets of Love live, as of yet...) I am hoping, some day, the Stones will perform an all acoustic set--with their countrified tunes, ballads, and a handful of rockers (didnt Keith say Street Fighting Man was written on acoustic guitar?), they certainly have enough material for a full set. Or maybe we will have to wait for a solo Mick outing for this.

Night Time--makes one want to break into a sultry strip tease...The Stones play this one so loosely and effortlessly fluid.

Love is Strong--that wailful harmonica, and oh yeah, gotta relate to the lyrics...

Tumblin' Dice-- Never tire of this gem!! Love the back-up singers/brass filling it out. Anything from the Exile period. I need room to move when they play this one...

All good points. And youre right about SSC, maybe putting it on here was not 100% right, because its been kinda hit or miss. Some nights it grooves perfectly and they nail the break, while others, its all over the place, a sloppy mess.
