Just to add, dutchtaper (Joost) does a lot of excellent quality Neil Young shows. His last great recording was the infamous Amsterdam (Heineken Music Hall) show from 8th May 2003. This show was treed on hempsall.com and received around 1300 sign-ups world wide. I believe "Ahoy the Killer" was also his.

Looking forward to this! Thanks, Macdaddy!

mac_daddy Sir Oliver - please send me a PM with your snailmail addy. Thanks.

mac_daddy looks like nobody wants this one...

I think it is a pretty good show, with very good sound. As a reference point - the sound and performance is better here than on the Cirkus Krone boot...

maybe I will just trade you two for it - Sir Oliver wants SHNs and I know LB is an audio man...

speak up if you want in on this offer, otherwise I will burn their discs and be done with it (there is more in the pipeline, so if there isnot interest here, then I will focus my efforts elsewhere).

mac_daddy Kent - you have an email...

please be careful when signing up - Kent was like third on this thread, but got skipped in subsequent posts. I would hate for somebody to get skipped over because of that.

Is there interest in the SHNs (other than Sir Oliver), or do the rest of you just want audio?

Have a good weekend.

Well, Flashpoint, it's a nice way to distribute music. Especially for beginners that don't have much for trading to build their collection. Patience, however, is required.

Here's how it works. Macdaddy sends cds to the first person; they burn DAO (discs-at-once) copies for themselves and mails the ORIGINAL cds (the ones macdaddy distributes) on to the next person. Addresses can be requested and forwared via private mail on Rocks Off.

Couple things to remember are: 1) try making your copy and send the originals on to the next person as quickly as possible - within 2 or 3 days makes the vine maintain a rapid, consistant flow, and 2) please exercise caution when handling and mailing the cds. Seeing the originals are in constant transit, the last thing we all want is for people down the vine to receive cds that won't burn because of careless mishandling.

Enjoy!

Flashpoint OK, thanks a lot Lazy for taking some of your time to explain me
Now that i know i'm glad to be in the permavine
08-31-03 10:33 AM
mac_daddy Wow - alot of interest (I seem to have spoken too soon above)...

if you can burn audio discs DAO, and if you are open to trades, I will happily swap for this set (2 discs). If you want to go this route, send me your trade list and snailmail addy. Otherwise, you will remain signed up for this permavine...

somegirl Now that I know how it works I´d like to put my name on the list also.
Next to me on Ahoy was standing a guy who recorded the show - may be it was you....!!

Besides Krone and Utrecht this show was the most enjoyable for me personally - I was sooo happy !!!!- and therefore would be glad to have a copy as a nice remeberance of this show. Thanks a lot!
