Topic: Poison's cover of Dead Flowers Return to archive
17th August 2007 07:55 PM
gorda Has anyone heard Poison's version of Dead Flowers? Is it any good? I don't want to buy the CD, if it's no good.

P.S. I saw Bret Michaels on Cheslea Lately (That show on E.), anyways he stated that if given a choice on whether to sleep with Mick Jagger or Steve Tyler of Aerosmith, he would "give it up for either one." He went on to explain that even though Mick was a Rock God, Steven would give him some backstage passes to his next show. So, he finally settled for Steven!

I AM NOT MAKING THIS UP! THIS IS TRUE!

P.S. Micky! You better not go with that Bret Michaels! I will be furious!

You suck.

mrhipfl It's ok, nothing special at all. I wouldn't buy the CD for this song. It's basically the same is the original with more overdrive on the lead guitar.

gorda I just got Poison's Greatest Hits CD, because I like that song Every rose has its thorn.

But, I think I am going to get the CD with all the covers of classics, because Dead Flowers is a beautiful song, and I would like to hear a metal version of it.

I am not a major Poison fan, but I have been watching the Rock Of Love on Vh1, and Bret Michaels is hilarious on the show. (He tries to act like he's looking for a serious relationship, but then HE'S MAKING OUT WITH ALL THE GIRLS!)

Poison is on tour right now, and they were recently in Northern California. (Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to see them.)

It's not a metal version of the song, not in the least bit. The covers are pretty bland, both in the choices of the songs and the way they are performed.

If they are playing a larger venue near you, free tickets are pretty easy to come by.

I don't think Mick, Brett, or Steve would sleep with YOU either! (I don't know about that Moonie guy. Who are you referring to?)

P.S. THE TRUTH: I wouldn't sleep with them either, I would be to embarrassed.

Hmmmmmmmmmm . . . I always wondered why he always wears that bandanna or cowboy hat or ski hat. He always covers his head. I have only seen him without his bandanna once, it was during an episode of Vh1's Rock Of Love, where the girls have to call him on the phone and "talk dirty" to him. His hair was all messy and all over the place, and he did not appear to be balding, but then again, he could have just "combed over" the hair from the back and sides to cover it. He hair was too messy, I couldn't tell.

Oh, gorda, his hair is thin. He's got what is referred to as "chicken hair." It's like a baby chick's, and that ain't a good thing.

"Well, baby, then I guess he'll just have to keep wearing that bandanna 24/7!"

gorda Or, he could join one of those Hair Club For Men programs. I'm not exactly sure how they do it, but the clients in the BEFORE/AFTER TV commercial look great!

Or he could get one of those weaves like the black girls do!

P.S. I don't think there is anything wrong with trying to improve yourself.

gypsy I watched Sunday - did you?
I hope he picks Jes. I think she is the prettiest and the most down-to-earth. The rest of the girls look like roadwhores, especially Heather, who also looks like a man in drag.

I hope he picks the blond with all the tattoos or the chick with the pink/blond hair.

I haven't been watching, though.
like, at all

I'm just glad Tiffany got the boot early during the show.

or so I heard.

Haven't watched a second and haven't seen any of the chicks until someone posted some pictures of one from a porno site.
