DNA not a match for John Mark Karr in JonBenet Ramsey case
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors decided not to charge John Mark Karr in the slaying of JonBenet Ramsey, his lawyers said Monday after a TV station reported that the schoolteacher's DNA failed to match genetic material on the 6-year-old girl's body.
"The warrant on Mr. Karr has been dropped by the district attorney," public defender Seth Temin said outside the jail. "They are not proceeding with the case."
Boulder County District Attorney Mary Lacy's office did not return repeated calls from The Associated |

Couldn't they have just taken some hair from him in Thailand and figured it out that it wasn't him rather than spend taxpayer dollars to fly his goofy, pedophilic ass back here for no reason? Why go through the effort and potential embarassment if you are not positive?

I recall posting this the day they arrested him..it was patently obvious that this sicko was not the murderer of Jon Benet(RIP). Nonetheless, he should never be allowed near children , as he poses an imminet threat. |

I don't believe they could legally obtain DNA that is usable in court until he is received by US authorities...I could be wrong, but that is what I deduct |

Counsellor, you full well know the 'chain of custody' evidentiary issues involved if the tests were done in Thailand as opposed to Colorado.

I am taking part in a diabetes fundraiser as my father has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and is undergoing a major life change (ie no more .$99 burritos purchased in bulk).
As I have always said on this board, particularly when politics are brought up, I have zero respect for posts that simply bitch about something when it is clear that they do not have a large enough set of testicles/ovaries to do something about it. I, clearly, have bowling balls for testicles and am a "doer" not a "watcher". I don't like the fact that the more I educate myself on diabetes, the more I become concerned how it could affect myself, my friends, and my family. I have not sat by idly. It is clear to me that the best way I can help reach a cure is to raise money for the research of a cure for juvenile diabetes, a dehabilitating disease that ruins the life of children. Children deserve better than that and is is frankly sad when a child cannot enjoy a "childhood".

It is an insideous disease that eventually will get you....my friends dad had it, and no matte how he tried to change , he lost both feet and eyesight...he died in a wheelchair. Best of luck on a noble cause...

Thank you, as you know, the eyesight is already going due to another disease. I will probably end up with this disease and will have to depend on caretakers in my later years. I accept this and shall use my now famous work ethic to hopefully protect my children from suffering during their senior years.
I am not enthusiastic about the prospects of spending my last years in a wheel chair, but if it happens and I have the knowledge that I did my best to avoid it, I shall, much like with every other obstacle, accept it and adapt. |

I shall require them to watch footage of the 20/20 stories showing the horrors of these facilities monthly upon confirmation of my imminent need for long term care.
Also, I shall threaten to donate my estate to a worthy charity (see: United Negro College Fund) instead of providing financial stability if they choose this unsavory action. I will have my legal team draw up several documents expressing my desires as well as the consequences of them being ignored. For example, I would be very upset if I find out they plan on cryo freezing my head in the Arizona facility (please refer to the leaking of the tanks in the 70'2-80's) which lead to useless thawed corpses. I am considering being permanently embalmed and placed in a glass case for public viewing in a high trafic/low vandalism location (which will only be revealed after I have been placed and locked safely in my bullet proof glass box.
