marko Hopefully complete broadcast, and even better if we get soon!
26th August 2006 09:16 AM
Honky Tonk Man A complete broadcast would be great Marko, but apparently the programme runs for 90 minutes, so It's going to be somewhat butchered!
26th August 2006 10:02 AM
Jumping Jack I'd be heartbroken if they left out Miss You.
26th August 2006 10:06 AM
Gazza I bet you they'll leave out "Sway" as Mick probably thinks its "too obscure" !
27th August 2006 06:07 AM
glencar Will this be webcast & if so, when? TIA!
27th August 2006 09:40 AM
Gazza yes - of course. It'll be available as a live webcast.

8 pm UK time tomorrow. BBC Radio 2. So, thats 3 pm ET

BBC radio programmes are also usually available on their website for seven days afterwards, so I would imagine this will be no exception

How is the sound...
Seriously, let us know what they play and what they cut!
28th August 2006 03:19 PM
Gazza so far theyve played the first four songs that were performed - JJF/IORR/ONNYA/SSC - with the word "fucking" edited out of ONNYA.

'Sway' is up next - so hopefully we'll get that one too
28th August 2006 03:22 PM
jaymze im listening to them on my stereo at the moment as i cant get it through my PC. "Shes so cold" sounds rockin!!

Hope there is a copy made available soon in some form so i can put it onto my ipod!!

28th August 2006 03:22 PM
jaymze sway!!!!!!!
28th August 2006 03:23 PM
Gazza yep - theyre playing 'Sway'! Surprised theyre playing so much of the "non warhorse" half of the show.
28th August 2006 03:29 PM
Dan Trim out the intro tape and the break before the encore and some of the stuff in between the songs and there you have the 90 min FM edit.
28th August 2006 03:37 PM
jb Gazza, reports are the UK attendance was better than reported -can you confirm this??? Thanks.
28th August 2006 03:39 PM
Gazza better than reported? depends who was doing the reporting..

Glasgow was definitely far better than I thought it would be. I wasnt at Sheffield so cant comment on the crowd at that one. And I wont be in cardiff either
28th August 2006 03:39 PM
albionshrew Live with me cut out.

Indubitably!
28th August 2006 03:50 PM
albionshrew Maybe band intros retain the live concert feel? Shame - the radio show could have been longer of course!
Will there be an official live album?
28th August 2006 03:51 PM
GotToRollMe I'm getting this message:
"Due to rights restrictions we are currently unable to bring you this program."

28th August 2006 03:52 PM
albionshrew "Due to rights restrictions we are currently unable to bring you this program."
This probably means you can only listen in UK - even on the www.

Please dont tempt fate!

we're on "before they make me run" and the full show has been broadcast so far with the exception of "Live with me". I'm assuming theyve edited out some between song pauses and delays.
28th August 2006 03:56 PM
paddy miss you is there sadly...........worst Stones song ever IMHO
28th August 2006 03:57 PM
albionshrew Miss You
