egon Can some of the "older" people on the board, tell a bit about how the stones shows now (80s-now) differ from
the ones in the 70s?

No need to get all technical, but i am curious about
atmosphere/crowd, sound, how they performed etc(really bad/good due to drugs) maybe some nice anecdotes?

also, who has seen them in the 60s and how was that.

cheers

Nellcote '72 Boston Gahden first for myself

First balcony, Mick T side.

Most technical aspect, large mirror, the length of the stage in the front, periodcally swing back/forth. Real fever pitch movement during SFM, at the end. Stage floor
had elaborate dragon painted on it.

'75 Boston Gahden

Loge, Ron Wood side.

Large lotus petal object opens the show, to bring out the band. During Star, star, floor opens with large phallus
appearing, which Jagger would ride.

'78 Buffalo Stadium

General floor roaming, no seating, just crusing each other to get forward.

Large Lips in the back of the stage, cannibis inhibiting
my memory of the technical aspect of this show. Ron on pedal steel during "Far Away Eyes" was a gas.

I'm sure I'm forgetting some aspect of these events, however, hope this helps
