VoodooChileInWOnderl From Bill German

Beginning this Sunday, September 1, "The Stones Zone" radio program will be heard every week in four cities, including Boston and San Diego. Check the "How To Hear..." page at www.StonesZone.com to see if your city is listed and to get exact times and stations.

We hope to add more stations in the coming weeks and months. Four ain't a bad start, considering how difficult it was to get through to some radio station execs during the dogs days of August.

If you know of a station in your area you think might be interested in carrying"The Stones Zone," please let us -- and them! -- know about it. (You can e-mail their program director or phone their request line.) Some stations refuse to carry outside programming (which is cool), but some stations need to be convinced that you, the listener, would tune in to a show like "The Stones Zone" each week.

Also, if you know of any businesses that might want to be a local sponsor of "The Stones Zone," please let us know -- 'cause that's what will usually convince your local station to air the program. (So goes the radio biz, folks.)

I wish I could continue to post the programs on "The Stones Zone" web site for you to hear, but there are various technical, legal, and financial obstacles in making that happen. So radio is the way to go.

Your comments and suggestions are welcome. And if you get a chance to hear the show this weekend, I hope you enjoy it. Either way, have a safe and happy holiday.

Yours,
Bill German

Stonesdoug Bill is currently negotiating with WARW to get the show played there. He would appreciate anyone in the DC area contacting the station and requesting the show.

Soul Survivor How about Detroit?

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
