Prodigal Son As for the 1994 one, isn't Jeff Healey blind? A blind guy smoking. Imagine that if he had an accident with his lighter or the ash. Why would a blind guy need to smoke anyway? Or do drugs. But I guess it gives them more of a grip on reality without seeing, a sense of excitement. Ray Charles was a freakin junkie for chrissake back in the mid-60s. Oh well, enough of that rant.

CS Yes, he was born with a rare form of cancer called retinoblastoma in both eyes and was blind by the age of 1. He received his first guitar at age 3 and learned to play it lap style because his hand wasn't large enough to grip the guitar's neck.

Martha Voodoo,

I don't know what the problem is but I can't see the photo for 1997.....it never opened while it was the header and I still only see the box with the X in it rather than any picture? All the rest have opened. Did anyone else have this problem today?

One important note for those who have the Book "Rolling Stones - Fotografas de Fernando Aceves" edited by The Modern Arts Museum - Mxico, in that book there's a double fuck up. According to the book the pic was taken in NYC in 1997, well there was no shows in NYC in 1997 but in 1998, but the picture was taken in Mexico City on February 7, 1998.

To finish the 90s I selected this collage as it is very special.

During the 40x40 marathon and in these years in our daily headers, we have posted the stones doing big concerts, private gigs, studio sessions, portraits, the irreverence, the happiness, on parties, weddings, baptisms, nudes, humor, trials and tribulations, and why not a moment like this? The stones in a deep feeling, sad, wondering about life and death... the same day... all together.

This header, as many others, has its own thread, check it out.

Soul Survivor It's still a touching pic

Mick's in tears, Chaz looks pale, Ronnie is very emotional looking, and Keith......well I don't know what to say about Keith

But it's a sad photo

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
