Wide As The Clyde That whole interview (it was with Jann Wenner) used to be available as a book called "Lennon Remembers", which I still have somewhere. It's a brilliant read.
Albert Goldman's book, too, is brilliant, and is probably all true. Lennon was not perfect. He was all of the things that people say he was, and more.

He's dead now. We don't have to call him names anymore.
