Brooklynn Hello Folks!
I've been a lurker on the board all tour long and you guys are full of such great info! I was wondering if you could halp me with this question.

I found these great Rolling Stones Steel Wheel Converse high top sneakers on ebay and I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about them. Are they really rare? I really want them, but I want to know more about them before I bid on them. They are soooooooooooooooo cool! Thanks in advanced!!

GotToRollMe Nice kicks! Dunno if I'd pay $200 for 'em, but definitely nice kicks.

Hey Voodoo, I love the background on this page. You should try it on the main page!

Sir Stonesalot Nanky has a pair of those...and he didn't pay no $200.

I know that for a fact because I was with him when he bought them.

Nice shoes, but I don't think there will be a buyer willing to open with a $200 bid. Put them on your "watch list", then ebay will notify you when they get re-listed after they don't sell this time. Maybe the seller will be smarter about the opening bid then.

nankerphelge SS is right -- I do have a pair, he was with me in Cleveland when I bought them, and I only paid $100 which I dickered down from $125

Honky Tonk Man I think they're hideous! I've owned about a dozen or so pairs of Converse over the years, but those I would never wear.

zipmouth Brooklynn, they were part of the merchandising from the Steel Wheels '89 Tour.
