De ware reden voor het afzeggen van het Stones concert dat deze week stond gepland is niet het probleem met de stem van Mick Jagger. Dat zei Corné Klijn gisteravond in het programma Zomerjocks op 3FM. Sterker nog, volgens Klijn waren er helemaal geen stemproblemen bij Mick Jagger.
De ware reden voor afzeggen van het concert zou zijn dat het concert in 28 landen op tv zou worden uitgezonden. De Stones zouden hier niet blij mee zijn geweest, in hun contract stond dat de enige geldige reden om er onderuit te komen ziekte was. Daarom, zegt Klijn, zijn de Stones met Jaggers vermeende keelproblemen naar het ziekenhuis gegaan. Eerder kon geen financieel akkoord worden bereikt over de radiorechten.
