The opening scene reminds me of the great scene in Gimme Shelter with Mel Beli and the owner of Sears Point racetrack. I keep expecting Marty to chide Jagger, "Don't turn me in to a protologist Mr. Jagger."
Can't wait to see this flick. You just know that Scorsese is gonna put out a great tribute fior his favorite band.

Fackin' Awesome! I had no idea! No idea that it was still possible to get the kind of 72 excitement happening visually and sonically. It is going to be a great film!!!!
To me FF was allright but just not THAT special. Best thing was the documentary. But SAL loks incredible.

Those photos from the Italian magazine are so rich-looking. I dont know whether it is the stage design, lighting or what--very lush and warm. Not like any concert film I have ever seen. Hope that feeling translates to this film, and it does get released, eventually....
