I had to do a double take, when I saw the list for the first time....

Highwire Rob Yeah, 2 Kiss and No AC/DC -- WTF????

Oh, wait... they must be on the "Heavy Metal" list with Jethro Tull!

MrPleasant I still don't get Thick As A Brick.
22nd August 2006 03:05 AM
Zack Isn't Zeppelin considered hard rock? They blow all that rubbish away.
22nd August 2006 03:44 AM
Ten Thousand Motels Crickey! I just woke up...what a thing to read at 3:45 AM in the morning. I'm still working on my first coffee. I must be dreaming that list.......

that list is a joke! a few worthy ones there, but poison???? i mean c'mon, wtf??? yes no led zep, criminal, absolutely criminal
22nd August 2006 08:46 AM
Trey Krimsin This "expert" probably considers Zeppelin to be "Classic Rock". What bullshit. Poison on a greatest albums list? Oh, you know this is one sick joke.
22nd August 2006 11:28 AM
MrPleasant From that list, I only have Bad Co.

Isn't Gene Simmon's School Of Rock totally awesome?
22nd August 2006 11:36 AM
Saint Sway here's a cursory guide for words to quickly scan for to easily determine if a music list is pure bullshit:

MTV
KISS
1984
Poison
Nugent

and any use of a band name with umlats

Madafaka MTV talking about HR... Ok, I don't need to read anymore.

Factory Girl Alice In Chains "Dirt".
22nd August 2006 12:37 PM
polytoxic Well if they include a Van Halen album you'd think it would be Women & Children First, instead of the pop shite of 1984. But then again, the list was probably compiled by a couple of interns who surfed the net for an hour and a segment producer who thinks Rock Star: Supernova is actual rock music. What are ya gonna do? Of course any mention of hard rock without AC/DC's Back In Black or Led Zeppelin 2 is not worth paying much attention to.
22nd August 2006 01:07 PM
Jair I am not sure if I can define wtf hard rock is. I know only wtf is hard rock cafe, which is a Brazilian food made of yellow bricks and coffee. Then, instead you take as a drink, you have to eat, as...a...a...a...a FOOD!!!

Other fact interesting: this food was the origin of an album named "good bye yellow brick coffee road", by a fag argentinean singer named EL TON JOANY.

All the rest is bullshit.

yeah 5150 was better than OU812, and that ain't sayin' much...if I put a VH title in a hard rock top 10, my choice would be Fair Warning..."Mean Streets" and "Unchained" ohh yeah!!! DLR was an obnoxious prick back then too, but it didn't seem to bother me as much. That gay ass poster of him in Women and Children is truly scary :::shudder::::
