Saint Sway I'll be in the 4th row

I'm gonna make a sign to hold up

Help me out with some suggestions as to what the sign should read

so far I'm thinking either...

STOP PLAYING THE SAME SET

or

GO BACK TO TORONTO AND REHEARSE SOME NEW SONGS

or

I PAID $500 FOR A STONES TIX AND ALL I GOT WAS THE SAME OLD WAR HORSES

or

OH NO! NOT THIS SONG AGAIN!

Gazza I'm not sure, but if you're the tiresome dork that went to every show on the last tour and waved that "Ronnie B Goode" sign just so it would be shown on the screen during Woody's bit in the band intros, you should be taken out and shot like a dog

try "slots rule you bastards", "this tour is a bust" or "Fuck you, Gazza, will ya"

have fun, you crazy kids!

Christ, I cringed every time I saw that.

Now that's funny!

glencar I remember that flourescent green sign. The guy looked a bit like Ronnie's younger brother.

I agree, but wouldn't you think they'd be members of some Stones boards? Jesus if you stalk them like that they've got to be die hards.

Anyone want to own up??

!!! Well you can go to a Crowes show any day of the week. With the Stones you're just paying to see historical documents in progress rather than an actual concert.
August 24th, 2005 12:56 PM
throbby Now TTM, you've yet to see a Stones concert or am I mistaken?

Nellcote Sorry Sway.
As I was witness to another FANTASTIC show last night...
My sign choice for you would be as another poster regularly says about the Stones..
"Best Stones Yet"

As some people pointed out earlier, the last two are the best. Good luck in your efforts.

Yet its a more entertaining and fulfilling experience when approached as just a concert.

No, you're not mistaken. Just think of the money I've saved. LOL, Well I never had it to spend it. But they haven't met us halfway yet....they've never played Maine. Why should I scratch their back if they won't scratch mine?

LOL! Yeah, but that said as much about these tiresome camera men...
God, that was annoying.

This is a funny thread.

egon something with the word beer in it
August 24th, 2005 06:21 PM
pdog I hope if you put up a sarcastic sign, you're not on Keith's side. He won't hesistate to single you out and make you feel really bad in front of thousands of people. Jagger probably would too1 He's flip you off or give you his trademark "brush you off" look.
That would be worth the price of admission, for me!

wasn't that the sign held up by the "Ono's"? a couple from japan i believe who put their lives on hold and follow stones on tour for past few tours. according to the story about them on rs.com during licks tour. i remember it said something about they used to get some backstage access but took pictures when told not too so that ended. the story must be on rs archives for licks.
