There seems to be tickets available. I just pulled up six tickets a moment ago. Tickets have been increasing to a show that was once wide open. As anticipated to many of these shows that are near sell outs, close to be being near sell outs or wide open, sales will increase once it gets close to showtime. My guess is this show will NOT be a sell out but will come close (it will be a near sell out).

You're probably right. The SkyDome's 500 level seating has very bad sound. They've suspended sound deflectors from the roof to try to preserve much of the sound, but it doesn't seem to do that much. It has a retractable roof, but all shows have the roof closed to provide equipment suspension from the roof.
Many concert-goers in Toronto have either witnessed or heard about the sound in those sections and, would no doubt, stay away from purchasing tickets - even if they're the cheapest seats.
My Voodoo Lounge tickets in December of '94 were up there. Glad the ticekts were free (bro-in-law won them!)
The roof is simply too high.
