Stones Expanding 'Bigger Bang' Tour
By Jill Kipnis, L.A.
The Rolling Stones will announce 15 new dates for their A Bigger Bang world tour later today (Aug. 24) through a special deal with Yahoo!. Beginning at 9 a.m. ET, visitors to Yahoo.com will be the first to find out about new international stops and can take part in a pre-sale for eight of the new dates in North America.
The tour has 2005 dates on tap through Dec. 1 in Houston, and will pick back up again Jan. 10 in Montreal. Newly confirmed stops include Jan. 13 in Boston, Jan. 18 at New York's Madison Square Garden, Jan. 23 and 25 in Chicago, Jan. 27 in St. Louis, Jan. 29 in Omaha, Neb., Feb. 1 in Baltimore and March 9 in Little Rock, Ark.
Yahoo! users will also be able to access concert footage from the tour's opening night on Sunday at Fenway Park in Boston and an exclusive audio stream of the new track "It Won't Take Long."
That cut will be found on the Stones' new album, also titled "A Bigger Bang," due Sept. 6 via Virgin. The group's tour continues Friday in Hartford, Conn.

Left Coast in 2006. Please, make me feel good I'm not spending a ton to go back to NYC... I love NYC, but I got a new mouth to feed on the way.
Some friends of mine were bitching about spending $75.00 to see Devo. One of them is a cabbie like me. We laughed, I make enough in one night to buy a Stones ticket, a Devo ticket, that's like 2 hours of work.
Life is good! |

I'll take whatever I can get. I've got one unused memebership and the used one still pulls up two seats. Test ran it today for MSG... Looks like I can at least make a stab at some tix before the public sales.
I'm not sure what this yahoo shit is about, I'm pissed with yahoo. Anyone else getting yahoo type spyware shit. On my IE the webpage goes to this yahoo page asking me to open up old email accts. I know some others who had this happen too.
I wonder if there's a connection to this new Yahoo pre-sale thing. regardless I'm passing on a Yahoo pre-sale. We'll have those passwords anyway. |

So they are staying in the U.S. until March? Or, are they going some where else, and coming back?
When the hell do they fit us in?
I mean, come on, our Prime Minister just got the Herbert Hoover award, for Christ's sake! |
