ROLLING STONES FORCED TO POSTPONE
SATURDAY CONCERT AT TWICKENHAM STADIUM
DUE TO MICK JAGGER FLU BUG
The Rolling Stones have been forced to postpone their concert on Saturday,
August 23 at Londonıs Twickenham Stadium due to Mick Jaggerıs bout with the
flu. Under strict doctorıs instruction, Jagger has been told to rest his
voice for t
"The Stones were looking forward to opening in the UK--for their hometown
audience--with all guns blazing," said Michael Cohl, world tour promoter.
"Weıre sorry to disappoint the fans who were coming on Saturday."
Sundayıs (August 24) Rolling Stones show at Twickenham Stadium will go ahead
as scheduled.
Saturdayıs postponed show will be rescheduled for September 20 (subject to
licence). The concertıs promoters had hoped to reschedule the postponed
show in the following week, however, Twickenham stadium logistics and
amenities were not available. &n
"The doctors tell me that I must have two more days rest--and after that, I
will be completely recovered and ready for a full-on stadium show on
Sunday," promised Jagger.
All tickets issued for the August 23 show will be valid for the rescheduled
performance on September 20 (subject to licence). Any queries should be
referred to place of purchase.

It would be a travesty if people missed out on the :

I only hope they can make it back to China this fall .
