The show of tonight has been cancelled due to voice problems of Mick again. Last night he been to a hospital in Amsterdam too take a look at his troat. Then this morning at 12 o'clock he went again and after that the show was cancelled. Makes me wonder if the voice problems it the only thing. Ok, he didn't sing well last night on "saint of me" and on "u can't always get what u want" and maby some more songs he was depending more on the crowd. But whole show was crap and not usuable for tv and certainly not worth for a DVD. Like i told to gazza, they can never get this right in one day. So maby this is the real reason but due with the insurance and everything they maby just keep it on the troat. |

Based upon Dutch reviews, this is very good news as many of you have reported on the shows being the worse ever.Rik has indicated, like myself, that it probably is best that they stop touring ASAP....

Joey, on PBS, they are running a Steelie Dan concert in which if you make a 75 dollar contribution, you can receive a DVD of the show.
Also, is Donald Fagan jewish. He is one ugly looking dude and has those 2 vampire fangs ....

By the way Josh , if you scroll down on that WHO link I gave you , you can see some of the last shots ever taken of Keith Moon and Pete Townshend together . In the summer of 1978 , Keith and Pete were very close and Pete was loaning money to Keith so he could pay the rent on his flat .

I don't know if it is the current tour...it is really great and the music is excellent. Maybe PBS has listings....they are on their fund raising campaign and as of late, have had a lot of musical specials(from opera to Peter, Paul and Mary). Unfortunately, they also had the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac as well.
Those pictures are cool...kinda sad that Keith had no money left...but look at John Entwhitsle who must have gone through millions as well...they remind me of old prize fighters who have nothing to show for their efforts(i.e. Joe Lewis working the casinoes in Vegas).
