Wide As The Clyde Sorry if this is covered elsewhere, folks, but what's your experience/opinion of buying Stones stuff on 'the bay'?

I have to say that thus far mine has been great! Just this morning I took delivery (only won it on Sunday!) of my latest: an absolutely smashing original (well, original stereo) copy of 'Beggars Banquet' which I won for just £5.50! I'd been hunting for a copy for ages, and prices I'd seen went up to £250.00 for a sealed mono one. Don't get me wrong, this one I scored isn't mint, but the seller described both disc and sleeve as 'excellent', and they pretty much are.
I'm on the hunt now for a '3D' copy of 'Sat. Majesties', and I certainly won't be jumping in for any at the £100+ prices I've come across just yet....

Whaddya reckon?

Dan I've bought concert tickets with no problems. I might have bought some of the reissues a few years ago but I don't remember. I love Ebay.

Wide As The Clyde I'm not gonna pay mental money (yet!).
There's a pub in Benidorm which has this very item pinned to the ceiling!! (just the 3D sleeve, not the disc) I offered the owner cash (not tellin' how much!), then I offered a swap for my octagonal "Through The Past..", then for my original "Sticky Fingers" and he knocked all of these back, despite the fact that "Sat.Maj" had been up there for 20 years, and was unprotected from the atmosphere. (Still looks OK, bit faded)
I've since procured a nice looking bootleg picture disc of "Majesties", so I might give him another try!
