Saint Sway that pic is not of a band. At least any band i know. Its a friggin broadway chorus line

yet amazingly they have trimmed the roster down by about 5 extra members since the Steel Wheels tour

so i guess thats a plus

Only one? I've seen them about twenty last times.

glencar I really truly evidentially think this was the alst time. I mean, I sure hope not but I just don't see any more shows from them. London is definitely the place for them to end it. Whilst I won't be at THE last show, I can say I was at the last outdoor show, if that's what it was.

LadyJane I doubt there will be a dry eye in the 02 when that pic is recreated on Sunday.

I salute every person on that stage and feel blessed to have been attending Stones concerts for the past 37 years!!!

We are the luckiest fans!!!!

mojoman What good is sitting alone in your room?
Come hear the music play.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret.

Put down the knitting,
The book and the broom.
Time for a holiday.
Life is Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret.

Come taste the wine,
Come hear the band.
Come blow your horn,
Start celebrating;
Right this way,
Your table's waiting

No use permitting
soem prophet of doom
To wipe every smile away.
Come hear the music play.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret!

I used to have a girlfriend
known as Elsie
With whom I shared
Four sordid rooms in Chelsea

She wasn't what you'd call
A blushing flower...
As a matter of fact
She rented by the hour.

The day she died the neighbors
came to snicker:
"Well, thats what comes
from to much pills and liquor."

But when I saw her laid out like a Queen
She was the happiest...corpse...
I'd ever seen.

I think of Elsie to this very day.
I'd remember how'd she turn to me and say:
"What good is sitting alone in your room?
Come hear the music play.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Come to the Cabaret."

And as for me,
I made up my mind back in Chelsea,
When I go, I'm going like Elsie.

Start by admitting
From cradle to tomb
Isn't that long a stay.
Life is a Cabaret, old chum,
Only a Cabaret, old chum,
And I love a Cabaret!

no. I'm pretty sure the singer from Matchbox 20 only sang background vocals and played the triangle on the Urban Jungle tour.

The man on the far right is Tim Reis. He plays saxaphone in addition to Bobby Keys, who also plays saxaphone.

See, most bands only have one saxaphone player. But we have two. Pretty cool huh!

I have heard rumors from insignificant inside sources that a 3rd saxaphonist would likely be added if they play the states in '08.

take that Bon Jovi!

Steel Wheels I think I'm the only person who feels this is NOT the end.

Can someone give me a list of musicians who hung it all up in their 60's?

What are these guys doing?

Chuck Berry
B.B. King
Little Richard
Tony Bennett
Al Green
Bo Diddley
Buddy Guy
Solomon Burke

When did these guys give up music?

Johnny Cash
Frank Sinatra
John Lee Hooker
Johnnie Johnson
George Harrison
Louis Armstrong
Dean Martin

I have not attended my last fucking Stones show. I repeat, I have NOT attended my last fucking Stones show.

Steel Wheels What I'm going to prepare for is a 2008 "Shine A Light" tour to promote the Scorsese documentary, along with a cool DVD box set of tongue-wagging entertainment. Also there will be the Academy Award ceremony for best documentary, where the band will perform (either live or via closed-circuit television) after being introduced by Marty.

The next three years are going to be very important years for our lads as they will see tremendous interest in their lives, music, and art. DVDs, book deals, solo best-of recordings, and more touring...it's only rock and roll!!

These guys are all solo artists. . . .the band behind them didn't matter. i for one will not see the Stones without Blondie Chapman in them!
