Riffhard ..what happened between Rocks Off and Gasx3? I could not help but notice that the link to RO has been removed from Keno's site and likewise the Gasx3 link has been removed from RO. I don't want to start a board against board flamewar here but what the hell happened? I gathered from a couple of posts last week or so that bad blood has been spilled between these two boards, but what's the story?

Please don't tell me it's that same old stupid liberal vs conservative bullshit? I mean c'mon now. Can't we all just simmer down and get along?

Please spill the beans. I's just gots to know.

glencar I don't think it has anything to do with partisan politics. There was a dust-up a few weeks ago & I guess there's still bad blood. And no, Joshy had nothing to do with it.

LOL...as Gerardo and I dont live in the US, we're hardly gonna fall out with someone over THAT!

Without wishing to drag the whole thing up again, Keno accused us over a month ago of allowing hotlinking from images on his site and ignoring his requests to stop other people from doing so. Something we know for a fact wasnt the case and which we proved (as far as we're concerned) to be correct. He didn't agree. He was stung for a considerable bill from his webhost (which thankfully seems to have been refunded to him). A few posts were made on the subject on either board (mostly by both himself and Gerardo) to let people know what the whole thing was about, although eventually we dealt with it by private e-mail and the threads on each board were eventually deleted. His main beef seems to be with Gerardo.

Jaxx and myself exchanged e-mails with him. We didnt agree on everything, but we corresponded in a courteous enough manner, I think. As far as I'm concerned, it's a closed subject. If the links return, thats between Keno and Gerardo.

Riffhard Thanks guys. Yeah I seem to remember Keno bitching about the cost of his server and bandwidth problems. I'm glad to hear that he got it sraightened out. He can be very serious at times. Oh well,I hope that some day we can once again be considered sister/brother boards again.

Always remember seriousity killed the cat! Or something to that effect.

F505 You must believe me if I tell you I've never in my life heard of "Keno". Who is he? Is he important?
