T&A Gotta chance to meet and have a few drinks with our esteemed tri-leader last week in Belfast. A truly wonderful fellow - it was great getting a chance to meet and talk Stones and Dylan (and JB). Thanks for taking the time to hang out, Gary - all the best and let's hope we hook up somewhere down the road....

Mel Belli Not to be a kiss-ass, but I zero in on Gazza's posts like I do my favorite newspaper columnists.

Do you make a living as a writer, Gazza? If not, you should.

Gazza "lets not start sucking each other's dicks just yet" (Winston Wolf, "Pulp Fiction")

Thanks Tod. It was great to meet you and Joe on Friday night. Hope you enjoyed your stay in Ireland and in our city. Glad you both made it home OK.

Till the next time..

Gazza >Do you make a living as a writer, Gazza? If not, you should.

LOL. Thanks. Oddly enough I do. Unfortunately, it's as an appeal writer, however, but it's "writing" of sorts, I guess...LOL.

I used to publish, edit and write articles for a football fanzine some years ago however, but that was a 'labour of love' and something I did in my spare time - this is the only thing I've ever done in relation to music. It's not 'writing' as such, though is it? - more opinionated spleen venting at times! Anyone with passion can write, I'm sure. Whether you happen to agree with them or not is a side issue.

It's been my experience that passions don't pay well. Keith's recommendation that if we all made professions of our hobbies, then we'd all be happier - a polite fantasy coming from a guy who waltzed into superstardom at age 19.

You make me feel like a real good looking boy !

W- W- W- W- What ?!?! Oh , sure :

REAL GOOD LOOKING BOY
( Townshend / Santos )

" When I think back to the
first time in my childhood
When I saw that face
I thought right then,
'That's a real good looking boy.'

I saw myself in the mirror
in profile
for the first time
I thought,
'Hey! That's a real good looking boy'

And I felt then
that I moved
With all those lucky bucks and angels
High in the theatre
In the sky

So I went to my mother
I said,
'Hey mom - take look at me'
Have you ever seen a teen
Fly so high?

That's a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy

She said,
'Son, well, you know,
you're ugly boy.
You don't really look like Steelie .

In this long line
There's been some
real strange genes
You've got 'em all
You've got 'em all
With some extras thrown in

That's a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy

Wise men say
Only fools, only fools rush in
But I - I can't help
Fallin in love, in love with you

Now I'm here with you little darling
And you say, 'You're beautiful as you are'
And I've managed somehow to survive

You arrived in my life like a fragrance
And helped me find a way to laugh
And I know now so-called beauty lies

God gave him a face
Then he gave me something above
God gave me grace
Then he gave me your sweet, sweet, sweet love

You make me feel like a real good looking boy
I feel like a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy
That's a real good looking boy .............( fade to Steelie ) "
