Gazza >Hi Joey unfortunately I am not familiar with the Who...

well, he's in Australia. I know that a couple of hundred years ago it was something of a penal colony, but I think things have changed for the better!

You folks need to get more up to date in your news coverage!

Factory Girl We all have PM capabilities.

Could someone do an AIC b&p????
August 6th, 2004 02:55 PM
GimmeExile Factory Girl,

Great idea! Did you ever see Alice in Chains live?
August 6th, 2004 03:10 PM
Factory Girl Hello Gimme,

I saw AIC live in 1989. They opened for Iggy POP in Hammerjacks, Balto. You should see Iggy live. He's one hell of a live show.
August 6th, 2004 04:11 PM
GimmeExile I have seen Iggy Pop live, and he is intense--Raw Power, indeed!

I saw Alice in Chains only once; it was their performance at Lollapalooza '93 in Charles Town, West Virginia...Layne Staley's stage presence was one-of-a-kind--dark, brooding and passionate.
August 6th, 2004 04:26 PM
Factory Girl LOL, Gimme-at first glance I read "dork". In'89, AIC were just breaking thru nationally. I recall they all wore plaid shirts-"We're from Seattle, damn it"! LS looked messed up.

I never have been to Lalapalooza.

Jumping Jack This is an outstanding DVD and a must have for any Who fan.
August 7th, 2004 02:23 PM
Dan I have seen AIC 6 times, mostly on the bill with other bands I went to see and they ranged from tolerable to downright boring. THe last 2 times (Lolla 93) was a bit better than the first 4. Just scored one of those which I will be transferrnig to disc soon.
August 8th, 2004 03:22 PM
Factory Girl Dan, you have a PM!!!
