To answer a question,
I would guess the ramps to the right of the stage in the bleachers (not the RF GS!) might just be for crowd access to/from the field. As you might guess, the park wasn't designed to let lots of people on and off the field ... the opposite, of course. So it's slow to get on and off, and you need ramps over the walls.
Pretty much all the loading is done through the big holes under the bleachers behind the stage (near the Stop & Shop sign). The band will probably go in and out there too.
If you're trying to figure out the innards of the stage this (1MB) is a higher res detail of one of those pictures above. BUT ... don't repost it as an image in a thread. It's a waste of bandwidth and the boards don't need a hugefuckingmongous image in a thread. Just click on the link.

Just to be clear, it was the other way around. The first set (skeletal stage) are my pix. I wasn't going to say anything until I saw this post, and then saw how IORR didn't mention that they weren't their pix.
Where I come from it's cool to share pictures, that's what fans do, but it's not cool to pretend they are yours, like whoever sent them on did.
Obviously I'm just passing through, I just thought you guys would want to see the pix and it's great you enjoyed them. Hope you have fun at the shows. |
