M Watts is part of his trust fund board thingy

he doesn't perform too often these days, he's kinda out there, but it was a treat, the Ruta Maya show,! some seriously deranged rock no roll man, it was off the hook

Nasty Habits No way! I almost went to that show! A friend of mine from Asheville drummed for the band that followed him (reports that following Roky was one of the things he least wanted to do ever). He said that it was really intense and the love in the room was immense.

Now I really wish I had gone. Glad you made it. I'm jealous. He's going to be playing several gigs this year, I guess, but that was like the first close to full set he has played in almost 20 years.

Currently: The Coasters

I love the DEAD!!!

Hey, if you haven't figured it out by now, let me enlighten you. MUSIC IS VERY SUBJECTIVE and everyone has different taste when it comes to music. If you look over your CD collection at home, I doubt seriously you're to find someone who has all the same exact CD's in his/her collection. You may find a few here and there but not all of them. It's what makes it interesting because it's highly individualist.

As a big DEAD fan, I didn't take offense that you found them boring as I figure you're musical taste must be different; I do take offense when you stated how could anyone find them interesting because it shows you're somewhat close minded & haven't figured out yet that not everyone in the world has the same musical taste as you.

beer I went to 3 Dead shows in '95 but i never actually went 'inside'! I spent the entire time hanging out with filthy stinking hippies in the parking lots and doing way too much Nitrous oxide. At the time i didn't really care for the Dead. Now i regret it though.i wish i would have seen 'em. I guess it took me awhile to seperate the music from the fans. i hated the pseudo hippies so i didn't give the music a chance. Now, i find myself playin some of their records and liking them.

Indeed. I used to think the were boring, but that was before I actually listened to any of their music. I'd just gotten that impression from a few rock critics (emphasis on critics). Then I actually took the chance, and what I found was a really great band.

Right now, the legendary Cornell Univeristy, '77 show.
