gotdablouse Worst news of the day from IORR:
""Don't Stop"
Possibly backed with the Dr. Dre 2002 remix of "Miss You", but still not confirmed.

The single is due to be released one week after the album release date, with radio airplay starting late August"

I thought it was going to be released on August 27th...is that just to radios or in Europe maybe ?

Gazza I found the 27th August release date mentioned in some places aas a bit strange,I must asmit..

its normal practice now (here in the UK and Im sure elsewhere) for a single to be sent to radio stations several weeks before release to ensure as much airplay as possible and to increase the chances of a high chart placing in its first week. As 27th August is only a week away, theres no way that would be the release date here as its too early and there hasnt been even a whisper on radio or in the press about a Stones single yet, so a release nearer the time of the album seems more likely..I guess the end of August for the first radio play is more logical.

Never understood the mentality of releasing the first single at the same time or just after the albums release date. To build up interest in and make people aware of the album,it makes commercial sense to put it out a few weeks ahead of the album release.

Honky Tonk Man I agree with Gazza. People need to get fimilar with the record first.

Gazza, did you get the email i sent you?

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
