Looks like those concerns some people had for the immediate future of the band were somewhat premature!

I was lying in bed listening to the cricket (test between Australia and Engalnd(the ashes)) and who did they invite into the commentary box but MICK!
Amongst the banter Mick said that he's "recording this year(his own stuff) and will be doing all stones stuff next year".
I know we knew this but to hear it from Mick was soooo sweeeettt! He said his solo album will be out in the beginning of November.
It's so great to hear him talk with these cricket commentators. They're just two regular blokes (one Aussie,one Pom) but Mick just chats with them like equals, with no air of arrogance or snobbishness whatsoever. He talks of seeing them play at times, and they of seeing him on the Voodoo tour, and in 82'. They ask (pretty lamo question but they are commentators) if he could say he had a favourite song/album, and he says that rather he thinks the 69' tour is something that really stands out becuase it was the first time a group had brought all their lights/sound/whatever and played that type of show.
They also talked about the fittness it must require to tour like he did for B2B over so many shows. Mick says he stretches and has a very healthy diet and "you can't party, well I can't anyway....becuase it's not like a sports team where if someone gets injured you can replace them."
[hey, if ronnie gets injurred you could get....]
Hey also claimed that he didn't drink on B2B tour.
When they talked of cricket, they were saying how the one- day game (as opposed to the 5 day test) can be a bit predictable and Mick adds "like a porn movie" - Ahh mick you champion!!
They talked about his movies but who cares.
Yeeeoooaahaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!
