At the tender age of 17, Elizabeth Jagger has already
conquered the catwalk and is now adding acting
credits to her name. The daughter of Rolling Stone
lead singer Mick and Texan model Jerry Hall has
lensed her big screen acting debut alongside
Hollywood heavyweight Susan Sarandon in the film
Igby Goes Down.
Having the right pedigree doesnt always open doors,
however, and while she also auditioned for Passionada,
she failed to land the role. It was for a main character
so I was a little nervous, admits the leggy teen.
Although she has recently tried out for another
leading part and is keen to broaden her acting
experience, Elizabeth has no plans to cut short her
catwalk career in favour of Hollywood. She is currently
studying acting in New York.
Having met with success on the catwalk, Mick
Jagger and Jerry Hall's 17-year-old daughter is now
trying her wings in Hollywood

Jagger Jr takes film role
Elizabeth stars alongside screen veterans
Elizabeth Jagger has caught the acting bug and is to make her film debut alongside Susan Sarandon and Jeff Goldblum. The 17-year-old daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall has just finished filming a movie called Igby Goes Down. Her involvement in the project has until now been a secret. It tells the tale of a 17-year-old boy who copes with his mothers cancer and his fathers insanity by embarking on an affair with an older woman. Although best known for her forays on to the catwalk, this is not the first time that Elizabeth has appeared on the big screen. She appeared alongside her father as an extra in the forthcoming Enigma, which was produced by the Rolling Stones singer, and previously auditioned for a part in a movie called Passionate. Elizabeth has also been taking acting classes but says that the real thing is liberating. I think that the experience is better than having someone telling you how you ought to do it, she said.

July 22, 2001 -- Mick's girl licks flicks
WRINKLY rocker Mick Jagger doesn't know whether to be proud of or jealous over the career his Manhattan-based daughter, Elizabeth, is forging. The kid has already cracked the modeling world, but now it looks like she's going to succeed in the one field Mick has never conquered - acting.
The old Rolling Stone has been trying for at least 30 years to make it on the screen, but his various movies (does anyone remember "Ned Kelly"?) have achieved only cult status, at best. Now his little girl, almost effortlessly, seems bound for stardom.

Elizabeth just wrapped a movie with Susan Sarandon, "Igby Goes Down," and she's said to be very convincing in it. Sarandon has taken her under her wing and will continue to coach her. (Elizabeth says she can't go to acting school because all the other students will just want to talk about her dad.)
Elizabeth is no slouch on the fashion catwalks, either. She's said to be earning up around $15,000 a day, but her heart isn't really in designer duds. Someone complimented her downtown look the other day and asked if she was wearing the pants she'd reportedly nabbed from Keith Richards' closet. She just laughed.
She said she and Mick are exactly the same size and that she has raided his storage trunks so she now has a vast wardrobe of hot-again '70s vests, scarves, bell-bottoms and capes.
