Hi LJ, hi all! It's good to be here, good to be anywhere!  
New and very rare pics, scanned from the French mag "VSD":
Playing guitar on the beach for Marianne, her son Nicholas and lots of Brazilian kids:
Family movies (note the prominent Li'l Mick!)
Pics by American photographer Adger W. Cowan, who was on holiday in Brasil in January 1968 at the same hotel as Mick and Marianne. He forgot the pics in a drawer until this year!

Mick and Marianne being tourists in Brasil, 1968. The text explains that at that time, it was not dangerous for them to go in the favelas, because the poor people who lived there had rarely seen Occidentals, and were curious but friendly. The police was more afraid of Mick being a "subversive influence"!

i'm not jealous of anita...she did not age particulary well. she's kind of a bad joke in some circles. marianne seems pretty well adjusted, but i don't really feel any jealousy...let's see...hmmm..which stones' women could i POSSIBLY be jealous of.....

OK, there better be some album/tour news , fast. I just spent 5 minutes compating Mick and Keith weiners--I cant decide whose is bigger--the two varied positions of them is making it quite difficult to do an accurate comparison. anybody have any more photos? |
