On the way to work this morning I heard "Back of my Hand" on the radio (WXPN Philly) for New Release Tuesday. MAN that song sounds GREAT on the radio! You know how sometimes a song sounds better if someone besides YOU plays it.
It reminds me of the El Mocambo version of "Mannish Boy" a bit.
What a surprise to see Mick playing slide on it! And what a great cheesy guitar! Look how crappy the finish is! Plastic knobs!
I think it's a Danelectro, but an original as opposed to the repros that are popular now.
Beck plays one of those too. |
