"Tunnel of love" my arse!!! Fucking fabulous album. one of Bruce's best and his most underrated. certainly miles better than the overhyped and overachieving BITUSA and a better tour too! |

Gazza hides Dirty Work because it's pretty common to have his friends asking for it and it takes months to have it back.
BTW Satanic Majesties is one of the best albums ever, but you need to be in the same frequency, take a listen without any prejudices and with the aid of some acid, it's great, it's high I LOVE IT! |

A single of "How deep is your love" by the Bee Gees...I use to sing it while looking at myself in the mirror...this was for a short period (about 2 months) after Saturday Night Fever came out.....For some reason, I really enjoyed the falsetto part by Barry Gibbs...it was also the first time in my life that I developed a minor acne problem . |

Gazza, as a fellow Bruce fanatic, I have to beg to differ on "Tunnel." I don't get that album at all, and the footage I've seen from the tour -- Bruce in a surfer's tank top, Patti wearing a high bouffant -- looks pretty embarrasing (but then, so does Mick's gay quarterback phase).
I think -- the charge of blasphemy be damned! -- that "Nebraska" is overrated, too. BITUSA may be overhyped, but it's one helluva finely crafted pop album. There isn't a weak track on the thing, and I don't think he's come close since.
The two solo albums -- ack!
"Tom Joad" -- snore.
"The Rising" -- occasionally brilliant, but very spotty in retrospect.
I think Springsteen is just as vulnerable to the charge that dogs the Stones: i.e., hasn't made a great album in 20 years.
The Stones happen to have 10 years on the Boss, too, making their span of great albums all the more impressive. |

Abba - let's face it, good pop, cheesy and simple as it is
Grease Soundtrack
Genesis - every album they've ever made
And I love 'em all!
