I think, in light of the Elvimania sweeping the nation, an Elvis number seems likely. "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'" will almost certainly be an encore.

Then again - check what was rehearsed last night - a good number of those songs will probably be there.

-tSYX --- Still waitin' to hear for a single idea...

TheSavageYoungXyzzy Hmm... so I checked Stonesdoug's little parlor, and it seems they're having the same discussion... and a number of them have picked my choice, "If You Can't Rock Me". However, it doesn't seem like they've rehearsed it enough to really play it - especially as an opener. (Yes, they did do it 8/14... does anyone have a list of songs by rehearsal day?) They might even open with "Hot Stuff". Unless it's damn close to the Lurve Ya Lirve version, that *might* not be the best choice.

My guesses are as follows - in no particular order:

Dance Pt. 1 (it's a club - get people groovin'!)
Hot Stuff (again, same thing, little different beat though)
Neighbors
Rip This Joint
Have You Seen Your Mother Baby, Standing In The Shadow?
Mannish Boy (for a more bluesy feel)

-tSYX --- goin' home. (and continuin' that way for 11 minutes...)

Go home Mick Taylor! We all know how good you are! Leave our Stone Alone (har har)!

Last night, we don't have a full list, but stonesdoug reported he heard "Hot Stuff", "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" and "Neighbors".

-tSYX --- Think! Think! Think back, Ronnie!

TheSavageYoungXyzzy Gahh!

So... they rehearsed "If You Can't Rock Me"...

Mwa hahahahahaha....

I sense the smug feeling coming on - never mind that I said it would open for arenas and this is technichally a theatre! I suddenly have a desire to become very rich and retire at 58 to Florida! The smugness pollutes my soul!

No offense to the Floridian Stoners - joke! Joke! I'm sure ther're enough jokes about MA - I can rattle off a few - but 's time for the STONES!

HUZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZAH!

-tSYX --- The '99 tour's just a memory...
