I empathize with you about the board.
The Stones did their best work when they were either hungry or pissed off.
They have not been pissed off in a very long time, and they sure as shit ain't been hungry.
But...so what? Like 505 said...they gave us huge piles of great stuff to wrap our brains around. That's pretty swell. And you gotta admit, even on autopilot, they are still a kick ass live band. There are always a couple of moments during a show when your jaw hits the floor. Can't really ask for much more than that. |
