sammy davis jr. I remember the sheer amazement and exitement when I saw the Stones in '89 with that awesome stage huffin' and puffin' smoke before the boys took the stage. Continental Drift was thumping out of the sound system.....and BAM! A huge flash of light, and Keith starts into Start Me Up. The lights were all coordinated by computer, spinning, rotating and flipping in unison. It was like a giant sprawling urban oasis. I actually got to sneek up the back stairs and check out Ronnie's side for awhile the next day (was setting up at an adjacent convention room)-until a giant fellow appeared out of nowhere, grabbed me by the shoulder and escorted me back down- very politely I might add) It was one giant beast of a stage and every bit as cool as the lotus stage IMO.


On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
