Gazza from Paulywaul :

"Very interesting to see Keith pay Ronnie a great compliment as he introduced 'You Got The Silver' - "I'm gonna do 'You Got The Silver' because Ronnie plays so wonderfully on it. "

And true to form, it was a really good, tight version. My theory is that this bit of the tour is Ronnie's emergence as a real serious contributor/embellisher. Love the guy, myself!"

Yes, very true. I have a bootleg of their Atlantic City gig and it's probably the best song on it.

I don't even visit Rollingstones.com. I made that list out of Mick Jagger's choice NOT to play newer songs.

let's hope for a good show.

hey, I have a quick question that I don't really feel deserves it's own thread, so I'm just gonna ask it in here. I saw the Stones twice so far, once from a nosebleed seat and once right from the b-stage (that was incredible). I'm seeing them again this Saturday and am wondering if it's worth getting as close to the main stage as possible? From the DVDs and pics it looks like the gap between the front row and the Stones is really huge, so there's really not as much interaction as on the b-stage is there? I made some posters and signs and stuff this year, and I really want the Stones to see them and stuff. So do you guys think the b-stage is the better place or the main stage?

i made a sign in the shape of a guitar pick that read pick me. i had a 1st row seat for a giants stadium show and was hoping they would see it, and well, pick me. of course this never happened....anyway. in the midst of all the excitement and waving my sign around i was asked to keep it low from a fan 3 rows behind me...just a heads up.
