Jair The most versatile artist, the most honest and complete of all times.

He made some of the best albuns of the history of the music. I don't understand why he took so long to do "Living With War", imo, his best since Freedom.

Plus, much better guitar player than Keith.

Gazza I think we had a Neil appreciation thread last month...LOL

New album is excellent..written and recorded in a matter of days and released a few weeks later. Most bands these days can barely put a demo together in that time.

His best since 'Ragged Glory' IMO (which is superior to 'Freedom' for me, and anything hes done in the last 30 years)

To quote one of his own song titles, he's one of "the last of a dying breed".

i'm really not sure how you would quantify that statement. you can't compare cinamon girl to satisfaction, anymore than you could like a hurricane to beast of burden. both are very "gut level" players that attack their instrument in a primal way. neil excels at one note solos, while keith is the master of the riff and pentatonic berry blues boogie. that being said, I am fan of Neil and think the new CD rocks harder than anything he's done in quite a while.
