Ten Thousand Motels One of my childhood heros. Even though a bit of an asshole, he still is one of a kind. Though not a hero to me today I still find him an interesting character. He can be a pompous fucker but I think the Earth is still a better place for him having crossed our path in a little patch of time.

Riffhard This thread will never hit the 500 post count. Now if Crosby had thwarted an Islamofuck attack maybe, but sadly Crosby will not lend a hand at defeating this threat!

UGot2Rollme Crosby's book "Long Time Gone" gives good insight into what it's like being addicted to crack. He's dug himself out of that deep drug hole, so got to give him credit for that, in addition to his harmonies, songwriting, etc (though I haven't bothered to listen to any new stuff from him in about 10 years)...

I've been to 2 CSN&Y shows and enjoyed them thoroughly, not only for Y, so I guess I can say I'm happy that this walrus-like musically talented creature roamed the earth during my time.

Thumbs up for Dave!

Hell no. This thread has almost as many posts as the IORR appreciation thread....which tells me that the board almost appreciates David Crosby as much as IORR.

I did not catch the switch. Never heard that about Keith Partridge. I am glad he has gone back to his 70's haircut. The plugs look great.

sirmoonie I too would like to condamn this thread and denounce it as well. Even after doing all those drugs, David Crosby is still the definition of something that totally sucks.

The Byrds were a Great Band back in the day. I would question the tastes of anyone who denies that. It should go without saying.
