Moonisup I'd just like to say Ronnie rocks. I play guitar myself and I do know that Mick T plays much better then Ronnie ore Keith (yes indeed, I dare to say it), his technique is suberb. But he just ISEN'T a Rolling stone. He doesn't fit in. Ronnie is a Rolling stone, probably his whole live already. Same for Mick, Keith, Charlie, Brian and Stu. I don't believe Ronnie can't play anymore. Saw the video of the press conference and he looked a lot healthier then a few months ago (compare the pics of ronnie solo performances and from the pressconference).
Well that's all

rik

It's good to be anywhere especially here!

steel driving hammer I appreciate Ronnie for who he is now instead of how he plays.

Yep.

IMO, he "still" fits perfectley in the band.

For the Ronnie bashers, it's either too tight or it's too slack ain't it?

Honky Tonk Man Ahhh, Moonisup!

Your words are echoing what i have been trying to get across for a while now.

Ronnie = COOL
Ronnie = ROLLING STONE

Mick T = FAT
MICK T = "EX" MEMBER OF THE ROLLING STONES

RONNIE FOREVER! TAYLOR NEVER!

There ain't nuthin' wrong with Taylor being chubby! So long as he can fit 'is engorged fingers around his guitar, who cares? Besides, I've already explained how I'm using this to my advantage to keep Taylor away from Ronnie.

And as I recall, we have this arguement every month or so... I started it once, Alex, you started it once, I wasn't here last month, but I'm sure it happened...

So yes, Ronnie = el hombre. And as Sir Stonsey has said and will probably say again - it depends on your taste. I for one like Love You Live better than Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out. The versions on Ya-Ya's are just too damn slow. If you want real rapid-fire rockers, LYL is the solution.

And Live And Eclectic is still going strong in my player - though I bought the deluxe version of Live At Leeds and I'm training my band to play that version of "A Quick One" as soon as I get home...

-tSYX --- But ve will do eet tonight-ah....

Boomhauer I hope Ron just shuts everybody up this time. I mean, isn't he due to just blow us away?

He knows that he's gotta have his shit together, so I think he's gonna do his best.

Honky Tonk Man I prefer "Ya Yas" too "Love You Live" I think Taylor was amazing. He still is im sure. I just want people to get off Ronnies back. Thats all. Give the guy a chance. We should all do that. I DO LIKE TAYLOR, but RONNIE is the man at the moment. He will be just fine.

Prodigal Son Mick T is a shadow of his former great pretty-boy self but if Ronnie were to ACTUALLY drop drugs and smoking now, he'd start getting pretty chubby too.

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
