But I do want to know what was played.
And if it sounded good.
Thanks,

A " Tattoo You " show is definitely in the works ---------------or so it seems !!!!
Could you imagine the boys playing " Tattoo You " in its entirety at Roseland or Aragon ???? With Taylor ??????

It was reported that Neighbours was played as a slower, bluesy number with Jagger on harp. That sounds very interesting. It's rare that the Stones re-arrange songs for the stage. Maybe someone took in a Dylan show and realized you can actually do this. |

They've done a little bit of that: "Just Wanna Make Love to You" and "Not Fade Away" were slowed down; "Can't Get Next To You" was different from the original Temptations version. But, you're right, they don't do enough of it. |

interesting, but the main interest of this song is this pure crazyness : Mick s shouting, Keith s riffing, Charlie s drumming...fast and furious!!!
don t you think??
but it s interesting if they can make another versions live....
with my friends we ve turned out of Control into a reggae stuff( we re not the stones, just the NO Work Team i know, we just do it for fun!)..so the boys can do the same with their song, no problem with this.
Cheers , and long life to midnight ramblers fc!!

I am going to jump up and down and step on people!
WHERE IS THIS GODDAMN PLACE THAT REPORTS THIS?
That being said...
Everything on here looks great... except "Undercover"... *wretch*. I will boo if they play it live, unless they play it *better* than that terrible version on Undercover. How's it sound?
-tSYX --- That deaf dumb and drunk kid sure plays a mean slide-arl (not the best rhyme, granted....) |

Can anyone tell me if they see a bit of a trend in the
songs?? Maybe I'm dellusional, but, it seems as though the
songs they have been rehearsing tend to (more so than not)
fall on the same side of an album. Do you think that they
might try and pull of a mini setlist that consists of an
album side? (ie: Side A to Sticky Fingers in sequence?)
And are these going to be played in Arena?? Club? Further,
is there going to be "theme" nights? As in, they decide
that they're going to focus on accoustic songs, or do
BLACK and BLUE in it's entirety? Hhmm....
Cheers,

I've noticed this as well - see my post on page 4 of the "Bad News" thread - I think full albums at the club gigs are a good possibility - I seem to also recall this being suggested by the band as well in the orignal PR interviews issued at the tour's announcement. |
