I just received the Voodoo Lounge CD-ROM from a friend for my birthday, so it's all new to me. I spent a good chunk of yesterday afternoon trotting around, collecting my VIP pass and hanging out in the men's bathroom. Anybody else play with this CD-ROM lately? I had a blast, the tech is a little outdated, but, oh, what fun!

i too have the VL cd-rom. it was given to me in 95, but trouble is, i only got a puter 2 1/2 years ago. After a long wait to play it (i have played it on friends computers), i cant load the bloody thing. Says i dont have enought memory. I even took off every download, every program off the fucking thing, i even upgraded the memory to 256sdram and guess what! i dont have enough memory. I dont have the most advanced computer on earth, but jeez, you think i'd be able to play a 7 year old game! |

Ah, I may be able to help you fix that. Are you running a post-Windows 3.1 operating system like Win 95, 98 or later? The VL CD-ROM won't run on anything with more than 32 MB of RAM. But my friend had the foresight to track down a fix for it and gave it to me on floppy along with the CD-ROM. I'm sure I can get the fix to you one way or another so you can get it working.

The problem is not exactly that the cdrom doesn't works with more than 32 mo of ram, but you can't install the program.
