Bob Dylan is set to make a special guest appearance on an album by Mudbone.
Unfortunately, the aging legend doesn’t lend his trademark weathered vocals to the track ‘Home’, instead opting to tinkle the ivories.
Mudbone is the project of seminal Funkadelic and Parliament vocalist Gary Cooper, with the Dave Stewart produced album hitting the shelves on October 2.
Cooper explains to the NME: “Dave (Stewart) had already produced the piano with Bob Dylan at his home, as they are friends.
“When we listened to the piano part, it fitted in really well with an idea Dave and I had been working on.
“So we tried it out, liked it and ended up using it on a track called ‘Home.’
Bob Dylan’s eagerly anticipated new solo album ‘Modern Times' is released on August 28.

Another disappointment. |
