Kiss My Ass!
No no, don't get me wrong; that's the name of a tribute album to Kiss (which is probably more exciting than the original recordings). And tribute albums are sort of Greatest Hits compilations, right?
I'm partially inclined, positively, towards the Ramones tribute album (can't remember the fucking title). Why? Because Bono sounds actually funny, singing "Beat On The Brat". That's why.

It's a really great album, with an incredibly diverse group of bands! |

Where the fuck is Alice Cooper's Greatest Hits?
Why hasn't anybody mentioned it?
I don't even know where else you could get Teenage Lament '74, but you must own this song and this album. |

Forty Licks is one of the WORST compilations ever. The edited songs, the missing songs, and the 4 NEW (definitely non-greatest) songs made this a first class ripoff. I'm totally ashamed that I bought it. |

Best of Elvis Costello & The Attractions
Beatles...Red & Blue Albums
Bob Dylan...Biograph
Clash...Clash on Broadway
I really don't like "best of's"...they tend to be too much for me...like only liking the red tones of all of Picasso's paintings...or only the even numbered chapters of Stephan King's books...i think actual albums are a "painting"...with each song as a different shade/color/tone...some colors stand out more than others...some, not so much...but each is still part of the entire painting.
