glencar Isn't the flight included? BTW I took MaxJet from JFK to London last year & it was much better than a flight I took on United a few months later. MaxJet is similar to Silverjet except the latter flies out of Newark..

Roundtrip from NYC yes glencar...but say from here in Atlanta I'd still have to get to NYC and back....Plus who makes these kind of plans on about 2 weeks notice?.....Typical cash grab.....anyway I'm more pissed off about the good or apparently good seats held back from the folks who bought already....

glencar Good points, both.

pdog how much is a roundtrip to London? I thought the price for flight and ticket was pretty cheap, all things considered...
I'm not going, I want to stay married...

glencar BTW This special was heavily advertised on the classic rock station in NYC (Q104 for those in the hinterlands) and silverjet flies into Luton airport. Wherever the hell THAT is!

Luton is one of London's five airports. usually does low-cost airlines. 40 minutes from Kings Cross station by train. Its pretty much as handy to the centre as any of the other airports (apart from City airport, which is near the 02 arena, but very small and which handles mostly business flights)

gorda You get a ticket to the concert, round-trip airfare (Business class! That's almost first class!), plus you get to attend a party before the show!

Hmmmmmmmmm . . .

When something sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.

Besides, I just took my vacation, and now I have to go back to work! Oh, well, would have been nice!

. . . sigh . . .

Renew your platinum membership and Cohl might send you a special DVD of that mile-high fan "special."
