FOURCHETTE We are very sad to announce you that Jacques, whom you know, died this morning in Spain while he was on holidays.
We were told these bad news by Martine, his friend.

We are all shattered by his sudden death.

He would often tell us how important was Rocks Off for him.

And you all know how much he loved the Stones ou how he helped those who didn't have any boots to get some.

He was a very kind man.

VoodooChileInWOnderl Don't have words to express how I feel at this moment

This is for me real shocking news, Jacques was one of my very first friends on the stones on-line community since 1998 and was by far also one of my best friends.

This is sad news can't believe it, fortunately he's now back with Monique, his wife, in heaven.

Rest in Peace Jacques, we're gonna miss you my friend

Gazza Couldnt believe what I was reading when Strange Stray Cat sent me a SMS message this afternoon telling me about this.

Just a week ago, Jacques e-mailed me to say that he was going on holiday and that he had 2 extra London tickets for sale as two friends were unable to travel. We were so looking forwarding to meeting up again three weeks from today for the 2nd London show.

Jacques was a long time member of Rocks Off and of course, the French TWIS forum too. After his wife died in January last year, I was so pleased that he had decided to come to Nice for the Stones show - almost exactly a year ago. After corresponding for years it was a pleasure to finally meet him. A really funny and very nice guy, whose friendship I'll always treasure.

RIP my friend.
