The version they are playing right now is one of the top 3 songs of the tour. |

It sucks bigtime. |

Why not? |

Better than it has been but still dated, boring, overplayed and too long. At leat you don't miss much sneaking to the B-stage. |

we need fresh tactics |

Midnight Rambler on the way to b-stage would be perfect! |

Nah on the way back. Midnight Rambler -> SFTD - Paint It Black would be almost perfect. |

it's because of the Brian Jones pool tiles. |

I have heard it at every show. How about Hot Stuff, it's funkier too. |
|
Egbert |
Fingerprint File, Hot Stuff & Miss You on the b-stage. |

Because disco sucks?

Has there been a tour where we haven't heard it? It's played out. Strike it out, Mick! |

I didn't see it all on the No Security or Licks tours. It sounds much better this tour than any tour since 1981. When I was OnStage in San Diego, all I could hear was blaring guitar. It was so killer! |

they have done that before on this tour. |

I prefer at least one rarity on the B-stage. Why have it otherwise? |

I'd love to hear Winter on the way to the B-stage. |

Miss You should be retired |

It's overplayed and we're sick of it. A classic case of too much of a good thing. |

A few rarities are nice, it doesn't really matter where I get them though |

B-stage is for rarities. It's supposed to be like a mini-club set. |

Its supposed to be whatever the Stones want it to be. |

I dont hate it. Far from it. It was THE song that got me into them. Golden Oldies station i listen to still plays it around twice a week.
What i didnt like about this song was the live version. Went way, way too long. And Ronnie Vs Bobby on the guitar & sax was too corny for frigging words. But, i like the current version they do live. Really dug it in Sydney. Mind you, the bourbon & "herbal smokes" were kicking in too. |

Because, at least in my opinion, this is one of those songs where the studio version is GREAT, but the live version sucks and is always a disappointment. Usually, stones live versions are as good or better than studio versions. But there are exceptions. Here are just a few where the studio version is better:
Miss You
You Got Me Rocking
Undercover
It's Only Rock And Roll
Angie
Wild Horses
Rocks Off
(more, but I gotta run) |

"Miss You" in general or just live?
I've heard it five times on the Bigger Bang tour (probably will hear it again), and to be honest, it wasn't that bad. It did get boring after a while.
I do admit, however, that the extended studio cut is the shit; way better than the version on "Some Girls". I was at a strip club and heard the Dr. Dre mix and started dancing around.
The edited version sucks nuts, BTW. |

Yeah Boomy... you know what's good!
Long version is great, more guitar interplay. The only part that sucks is the drum break, which isn't all that bad...
The live versions from 78 are insanely awesome and funkingly fab, and some other crazy sounding descriptions! |

It's like the original version doesn't have "art of weaving" in it, you know what I mean?

I have to admit, when it comes on the radio, I crank it up, but it doesn't do much live for me. |
