Topic: Rehearsals Are Private Return to archive

complicated The Stones are not selling tickets to their practice sessions. Rehearsals are PRIVATE...maybe they should give everyone hangin' out the big boot? Why?? Because it's being turned into a psycho, tabloid-like scene, it's fine to go down and LISTEN but why all the bitchin'? If fans are going to perch on site and breathe all over the great ones as they play they can at least respect the privacy of the band. So if everyone's a journalist now check your sources and be fair in your little feedback trips. Sorry if this message angers some...it is in response to waking up and having to tolerate the old "the stones sound like shit".

nankerphelge Well - you certainly put us in our place.

How about this -- if they are so fucking private why don't the Stones rehearse on some secluded island where people can't get to them? Huh? No answer? I'll tell you why -- because they like the publicity. And so they have to take the good with the bad -- as do you! If someone gets info on what's going on, they have every right to share it and I have every right to hear it.

Who the fuck made you the rehearsal police...

Mr T complicated has a point - if you don't like it - don't go

Miss U. Point taken. I have only good words for the Stones based on some truly amazing sounds I've heard for real.

FTELE52 Rehearsals are just that...any band working through material that hasn't been played in some time will be rough. That's inevitable.

I'm actually more excited to hear WHAT they are playing not how they are playing. With a few more weeks of cranking through the tunes they'll be fine.

complicated I just want respect for the band..let them rehearse..let 'em work through it, if Ronnie's not well then he's gotta go. Miss U, I admire your devotion to Brian and I appreciate your thoughts about him (I read your long post about his death), I am glad Mick signed for you!!! I just wanted to point out the privacy thing..I think the Chuch thing hit them hard. No hard feelings...they are my favorite no matter what!

Honky Tonk Man I think Complicated has a point. I sure as fuck dont want to know how badly Ronnie is playing!

On June 16, 2001 the hit counter of the WET page was inserted here, it had 174,489 hits. Now the hit counter is for both the page and the board. The hit counter of the ITW board had 1,127,645 hits when it was closed and the Coolboard didn't have hit counter but was on line only two months and a half.
