Ten Thousand Motels
About two months ago we had a referendum in Maine on a bond issue to borrow x-miilions of dollars to fix the roads and bridges here. I voted "NO" because we're taxed to death now and where did all that money go? But the thing passed, which I knew it would. So now the thing is to watch the politicans and make sure that's where this borrowed money actually goes. Maybe this disaster out in Minnesota will prompt our State to be more watchful as to how this borrowed money is actually spent.
