pdog I suspend disbeleif on the faux part, and can still enjoy it... at this point of the game, I'm only gonna be saved if they hit the vaults. Nothing they're doing is really moving me to the point I'm going to even talk about them off the boards.

corgi37 Got released today in Oz and i am getting it tomorrow. Odd thing though. Normally i'd be drooling and itching to get it. But i'm like "Meh, get it when i get it".

I know i'll feel different when i'm watching it though.

Jumacfly just watched fragments of Austin...there are much overdubs than sperm in Paris Peepee!!
31st July 2007 04:23 AM
Jumacfly hi there!!

very short night due to a biggest bang overdose!!
Weeding, a good beer and let's go...
After a few Austin songs which sounds a little fake, I ve decided to skip to disc 3....fantastic stuff!

great performances from the band, fantastic sound and amazing argentinian part!
Rambler and worried about you are well played, even if Ronnie fucks up the solo on WAY

the duet with Ciu Juan was funny as hell as the guy don t remember or can't read the lyrics

the Phenix parts were good too, especially Rough Justice that rocks hard!
Mr Pitiful and Get up stand up don t work for me, the second one is too slow.
Bonnie Rait does the job on shine a light, nice version.
Footage from the tour was nice to watch as well, thank you young Jacob
More tonight....I d like to know your opinion euro fans, please post your reviews here!

31st July 2007 09:04 PM
TornAndFrayed Watching Mick play the slide during "I Can´t Be Satisfied" and the "Busking" bonus feature is worth the price alone...
31st July 2007 09:10 PM
fireontheplatter i bought it the week it came out in the usa and i still listen to bits here and there most every day, so it must be good.
i said this once before and i'll say it again...its a bummer they didn't include interviews of the horn players and the back up singers.

Jumacfly Under my thymb from Austin is a nice surprise!
good version, unlike the 98'one from Amsterdam for example!
Not as powerful than in 81 but very good.

Ive also enjoyed "Get off of my Cloud" a lot, funny version with nice guitars!

corgi37 Sweet little tale follows.

Got the dvd yesterday and, of course, put disc 1 on. Wifey had a friend over (nice MILF too!) and i promised not to have it too loud. Anyway, the chick was saying how old they were and who would pay to see them and the POLICE rock blah blah blah.

Then the opening pyro & 1st chords and she's like "well, they are on drugs".

I zoomed through to SFTD. "Gee they go all out dont they"

Played Brown Sugar (she likes the song) and she goes "Is this towards the end? Are you saying Jagger does that all night? Look at him! He's running to the end there".

Fireworks (I am hiding my tears because, fuck, it's impressive - in a shallow way of course) and she goes "Gee, they know how to put on a show. Can you play that again".

Heh heh - got her!

Well done Corgi!
when I watched Austin, my parents in law were here and I had nearly 30 minutes of comments like" How mick is thin,Keith looks like an indian blablablabla..."
Then I put the argentinian part and the mother of my girl asked "Can you play "Satisfaction" for me please??"
Got them too.
Tee hee !
austin power, yeahh baby!

ps: I can't hear Blondie playing guitar, I haven't heard him when I saw them last month so...why does he play??
but there s no doubt :he's still the best Chestbanger of Rock n Roll history !!
